My new year's plan
- do awesome in school/my classes and do well in student teaching. Graduate from the MAT and multiple subjects cred. program!
- find a job in the SoCal area, 1. SD, 2. OC, 3. and last choice, LA
- i can’t think past school yet, which ends in August! Its my focus for the majority of the year.
- keep in touch w/ old friends, make new and meaningful friendships

10 things I did this year (NY post)
1. Applied for MAT program, TFA, and Catholic corps program for teaching. Got accepted into UC Irvine and UC Riverside. Chose UCI.
2. Took a bunch of test required for the teaching program (CSET, CBEST, and RICA)…lots of studying.
3. CEB 2010-2011…one of my best work experiences because I got to work with people I loved and doing things that make people happy/make a difference.

Breaking up with my MT
If I pass all of my classes this quarter (which I think I will/hope I will), I will be able to get a new MT for student teaching next quarter. I found out today, in a brutal way, that my MT told my adviser she felt I wasn’t fit for student teaching.
